CALL HANDLER:Metropolitan police, how can I help?
CALLER:Hello. I think I need to report an employee missing.
CALL HANDLER:Okay. Can I take your name first?
CALLER:Sally Hammond. I'm the Regional Operations Manager for TriCare Insurance Limited.
CALL HANDLER:And the missing person's name?
CALLER:Sarah Caldwell.
CALL HANDLER:How old is Ms Caldwell?
CALLER:Forty-two.
CALL HANDLER:And why do you believe she's missing?
CALLER:She hasn't been at work since Monday. She came in as normal – I saw her. But then she disappeared. She just left without telling anybody. That's not like her at all.
CALL HANDLER:When did she leave?
CALLER:Nobody knows. Early. Maybe ten.
CALL HANDLER:And she hasn't been to work since?
CALLER:No.
CALL HANDLER:Have you attempted to contact her?
CALLER:Repeatedly. Mobile. Email. Teams. Nothing.
CALL HANDLER:Have any family members been contacted?
CALLER:I managed to reach her husband yesterday.
CALL HANDLER:He reported her missing?
CALLER:No. That's why I'm calling.
CALL HANDLER:What did he tell you?
CALLER:That he hadn't seen her either.
CALL HANDLER:I see. Well it hasn't been that long...
CALLER:Look, maybe she's fine. Maybe she's gone somewhere. But this feels a little weird, right?
CALL HANDLER:How long have you worked with her?
CALLER:Nearly eight years.
CALL HANDLER:Has she ever done anything similar before?
CALLER:Never.
CALL HANDLER:Any known medical conditions?
CALLER:Not that I'm aware of.
CALL HANDLER:Mental health concerns?
CALLER:I couldn't say.
CALL HANDLER:Were there any issues at work recently?
(Pause)
CALLER:That's a difficult question.
CALL HANDLER:Why?
CALLER:Because there were some concerns.
