Horror stories told through the evidence
These are horror stories with no narrator. Each one is told through the documents left behind: a village Facebook post, a voice message left in the middle of the night, a 999 call transcript, a police attendance note. You read them in order and work out what happened.
Every story on Fictra is free to read and written by a real person.
Featured: The Old Ways (folk horror)
There are old ways of doing things in these villages. You don't have to understand them. You just have to follow them. Start with The Chair: someone keeps putting a chair outside number 6, and Maya is told to leave it where it is.
